Quality better than expected(8/15/2015)
I bought two of these the same day. One arrived with the cowling damaged. The damage was the result of the packaging being inadequate for the cowling. The plane took me about 40+ hours to put it together. I replaced the aluminum landing gear with carbon fiber. I was impressed with the landing gear box design. The canopy t nuts were loose and I use CA to hold them; this proved true on both airplanes. I did the maiden flight on the plane. The landing gear worked really well; the best of any plane I've had because of the box design. I chose an electric eflite power 160 which is roughly equivalent to about 37cc. The plane flies very well and I'm sure it will outperform what I can do with it. I set the CG per spec and it was right on. So far I'm happy with the purchase.
5 Star of the flight(7/12/2015)
I did the maiden flight today and this is a great flying plane. Fly's like it is on rails. Put the CG at 5 1/6" from the leading edge and with a good running 30cc engine you will have a great combo. I have a build thread and here is a link it if you are interested. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/arf-rtf-75/11617932-rcjetsworld-yak54-30cc.html
This is a great kit for the price. It was delivered to my door in Memphis, TN is just 4 days. The hardware in better quality then what you normally kit in a kit from China. I would have given 5 stars but there was a few things missing in the hardware. No big deal I had plenty on the to continue the build. The kit comes with a manual with plenty of pics that help with the build. I will buy more from this dealer in the furture.
