The plane went together well, all parts had a good fit, wing and horz.stab tube, cowl, canopy all fit good.I used a BE62 with side dump muffler and one 2500mah, a123 battery mounted on the engine box plus a 3.5" aluminum ultimate spinner. But I still needed 1-1/4 lb. of lead weight on the firewall to get it to balance at the factory 145mm CG setting, witch is rite on the money for CG.The plane wanted to nose over when taking off, I had to use up elevator till the wheels left the ground due to all the weight up front,.But once flying it flew flat and true with just a few clicks of up and one click of right. You could also tell when flying it had a lot of weight up front.

The Slick is my second 50CC plane. The first is an SBach. I mostly fly 3D and have all control surfaces adjusted to provide maximum deflection. Power is provided by an EME 60. It has unlimited vertical and hovers at 1/2 throttle. The larger engine and propeller requires c.g. adjustment and compensation for prop induced yaw. The plane has 400 oz/in digital servos on all control surfaces. The plane makes 3 aileron rolls/second at speed. It slow flights smoothly right down to a hover. In short if I can think it, the plane can do it.
The plane has approximately 25 flights and is holding up well to the 3D environment.
